★★★★★
“These chews really help my dog, Sibe, with thunderstorms and fireworks.”

What it looks like
Shaking Trembling when the thunder or the fireworks start. Panting and pacing Panting hard from the first boom, pacing and unable to settle. Hiding Squeezing into a corner or behind the couch. Whining Whining as soon as the car keys come out.
Why it happens
Thunderstorms Thunder, lightning and rain against the windows. Fireworks Sudden bangs and flashes on holiday nights. Travel Long drives and new places away from home. Vet visits The car ride there and the wait to be seen. Doorbell and guests A ring at the door and a busy, noisy house.
When to call your vet
Shaking, panting and hiding can also be signs of pain or illness, so call your vet if they come with no clear trigger, are new, get worse or worry you. A calming chew does not replace their advice, so check with them first if your dog has a serious medical condition or takes medication. Tell the clinic if you give one before a visit.
